Video2X refund policy — how credit restorations, subscription cancellations, and billing anomaly reviews work.

1. Overview

Video2X operates on a paid-only, credit-based model. There is no free trial and no sign-up bonus credits. This Policy explains what happens when tasks fail, when you cancel a subscription, and when you dispute a credit pack purchase. Where applicable consumer-protection law grants you mandatory refund rights, those rights always prevail over this Policy.

2. Failed Tasks — Automatic Credit Restoration

If a processing task fails due to a system error on Video2X's side or on the side of our AI infrastructure provider, the credits consumed for that task are automatically restored to your account balance. This happens without you needing to request it.

  • The restoration is of credits, not cash.
  • Restoration covers only credits that were deducted for the failed task.
  • You can verify restorations in your account's task history.

If you believe credits were not restored after a confirmed failure, contact support@video2x.io with the Task ID and we will investigate.

3. Subscriptions — No Cash Refunds; Cancel Anytime

  • Subscription fees are not refundable for cash once a billing period has started.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing; your access and remaining subscription credits continue until the end of the current paid period.
  • Subscription credits expire at the end of each monthly billing period and do not roll over. Unused subscription credits at the time of cancellation are forfeited when the period ends.
  • We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days within a billing period.

4. Credit Packs — Generally Non-Refundable

Credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable for cash once credits have been granted to your account.

Exceptions subject to manual review:

  • You have a significant unused balance and can demonstrate a verifiable billing anomaly (for example, a double-charge or a technical error that prevented you from using the Service entirely)
  • You have a mandatory refund right under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction

To request a review, email support@video2x.io with your account email, transaction reference, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Review outcomes are determined on a case-by-case basis; granting one refund creates no precedent or obligation for future requests.

5. No Fixed-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Video2X does not offer a 14-day, 30-day, or any other fixed-period money-back guarantee. There is no trial period and no satisfaction guarantee unless separately stated in a promotion or required by applicable law.

6. Applicable Law

Nothing in this Policy limits any refund right you may have under mandatory consumer protection legislation in your country or region. Where such a right applies, it overrides the terms above.
